For Alexi, the founder and owner of Kalira Chaos Designs, learning to make ribbon skirts became a powerful journey of reconnecting with her First Nations culture. Through creating ribbon skirts and other Indigenous items, she rediscovered traditions, teachings, and a deeper sense of belonging. What began as a personal path of cultural reconnection grew into a passion for sharing Indigenous craftsmanship with others.
